Mission YUVA baseline survey: Introduction, Objective, Focus of the Programme, Survey Details, Mission YUVA
Introduction
The baseline survey under Mission YUVA, a crucial exercise to collect real-time data on current and potential entrepreneurs, was launched to identify potential entrepreneurs and promote entrepreneurship at the grassroots level.
By assisting in the establishment of new micro businesses, growing already-existing companies, and encouraging creative entrepreneurial endeavours, the Mission YUVA project seeks to provide sustainable employment.
Objective
The initiative’s Baseline Survey aims to promote an entrepreneurial culture and an attractive ecosystem that will assist young people in launching new businesses and creating jobs for others.
Description
To make this survey meaningful, the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) have encouraged the candidates, especially the young people enrolled in various universities and colleges, to participate by sharing their goals for working for themselves.
To encourage the District’s young to build income-generating units and make a living with honour and dignity, they also asked the residents to provide the authorized Baseline Survey Enumerators with their full support and cooperation as they go from house to house.
The DCs also urged the educated youth to seize the chance to receive assistance in launching their businesses and benefiting from the program’s 25% government subsidy, 5% interest subvention, and an extra 10% subsidy for women and people with physical disabilities.
Under the Mission YUVA initiative, the District Administration has sent out enough Supervisors and Investigators to carry out the Baseline Survey for a month.
The focus of the Programme
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Employment and the District Statistics and Evaluation Officer (DSEO), the program’s goal was to give participants the information and abilities they needed to carry out the baseline survey as part of Mission YUVA.
Survey Details
The baseline survey will be carried out between January 1st and January 31st, 2025. Numerous supervisors, employees, and enumerators will be involved in all of Jammu and Kashmir’s districts.
